Welcome to CAP
When you visit us for a worship gathering, we want you to be at ease and enjoy yourself. Feel free to dress however you like. Wear jeans. Or wear slacks. Informal or formal; you'll fit right in at CAP.
Finding your way
As you enter the building, you'll be greeted and offered a program, which includes announcements and a preview of the service order. If you have any questions about where to go or where you children can go, the greeters at the door will be happy to assist you. Our children’s rooms are staffed by caring adults and teens who love children. If you feel more comfortable keeping your children with you until you've had a chance to "check us out", that's fine too.
Music
Our service begins with a blend of contemporary and traditional worship songs. Our band typically includes acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, full drum set, percussion set (hand drums, chimes, etc.), keyboard, and praise team.
Warmth
The music time is followed by a welcome from one of our leaders, plus an invitation to coming events. Except for the 4th and 5th Sunday's of the month, children in grades K-5 are then dismissed for Children's Church which is held downstairs right below the auditorium. As they go, the rest of us spend a few minutes introducing ourselves and chatting with those sitting nearby.
The Message
We settle down into our seats for a teaching time, led by our lead pastor. The teachings generally follow a common theme for 3-6 weeks at a time. The messages are designed to present practical help from God's Word for people living in today's world.
What you learn on the weekend, you'll be able to apply during the week.
Money?
The service concludes with a final song and worshipping by giving our tithes and offerings. The offering is a time for our church family - to worship God and financially support the ministry of this church. As a visitor, please don't feel obligated to give; we want this time to be our gift to YOU!
